DAY 01    -            ARRIVE KUALA LUMPUR

Upon arrival, you will be met at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and transferred to the hotel.1400hrs, An introductory tour to the garden city of Malaysia – Kuala Lumpur. The tour starts with driving pass to Jamek Mosque displaying splendid Moghul architecture See the National Monument, sculpted in 1966 to commemorate the successful defeat of the communist terrorists. Pass by the Parliament House. A photo stop at the King’s Palace – the official residence of His majesty the Yang Di Pertuan Agong. Visit the Thean Hou Temple. Pass by the Rail way station – a Moorish-styled building. A stop at Independence Square – where Malaysia proclaimed independence in 1957. Back to the hotel after the tour

1830hrs  Get ready for your night tour This evening tour introduces you to the Malaysian way of life – A harmonious mingling of the different races, cultures and religious. We begin by taking you to the largest and oldest Hindu temple in the city.The Sri Mahamariamman Temple – the smell of burning jasmine, the incessant chantings of Hindu priests and the mystical aura will all combine to give yo an ever-lasting impression of this fascinating religion. A short walk from here is the open –air bazaar of Chinatown – Take a stroll through this night market where the locals engage in hectic bargaining for merchandises spread across the middle of the street. From here, we drive you to a delightful Malay restaurant where you will be treated to a Malay buffet dinner and cultural show – Help yourself to the buffet dinner where a sumptuous variety of local delicacies awaits you. While you have your feast, you will be entertained to an array of Malaysian cultural dances.

DAY 02                  FULL DAY MALACCA                                                 

Depart Kuala Lumpur with a short refreshment stop in between, we arrive in Malacca in about two and a half hour drive. On arrival, visit to St Peter’s Church (1710) – the oldest Christian Church still in use in Malaysia. Drive past the largest 17th century Chinese cemetary outside of China, located at Bukit China or Chinese Hill. Stop at the foothill to view the famous gateway “Porta De Santiago” and the ruins of St Paul’s Church lined by 17th Century Dutch tombstones. Nest on the list is “Red Square” – the salmon pink Dutch administrative buildings which today houses the Malacca Museum and some other government offices. Visit Christchurch before proceeding for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we visit the “Abode of the Green Merciful Clouds” or the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple the only temple where you can find 3 major doctrines of local Chinese belief under the same roof, viz: Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. Take a stroll along Malacca’s antique street which end s by the banks of Malacca River.

Day 03              KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS                           

Travel North into the state of Perak, journey to Cameron Highlands (the centre of Malaysia tea production) takes you to an altitude of 1500-1800 metres above sea level. On the way, enroute stop to see the “Orang Asli” (Malaysian Aboriginal) complete with their blowpipes.

Day 04                   CAMERON HIGHLANDS - PENANG                                            

Morning proceed for tour in Cameron Highlands visiting Tea Plantation (closed on Monday), morning market and vegetable garden.  Then travel downhill and northwards to Ipoh - the city of millionaires’, which made its fortune from the rich tin mines of Kinta Valley- the heart of tin dredging in Malaysia. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, travel North to Kuala Kangsar, with its unique Ubudiah Mosque- a magnificent building with golden dome- and the Palace of the Sultan of Perak on towards the state of Penang. Then,  cross the Penang Bridge (spanning 13.5km-the longest bridge in Asia and third in the world) into the island of Penang.

Day 05                   PENANG                                                                                              

A scenic 74km drive around the island, gives you the best of Penang, famed for it’s sun-kissed beaches, Lush greeneries and the enchanting fishing village along the way.  Your tour will take you to the famous Fort Cornwallis and the Waterfront noted for it’s stilt clan house settlers. Here you will admire modern city Structures blending in with old historical buildings. Visit the one and only Snake Temple in Penang with it’s  Unusual collection of pit vipers. Proceed to admire cloves and nutmeg plantations enroute stopping at a typical Malay Village for that rare experience. Marvel at the traditional art of printing Batik and do not miss the opportunity  To pick up a few treasonable items as your reminder of a pleasant stay in Penang

Day 06                   PENANG – KOTA BHARU                                                              

Travel overland via East-West Highway  to Kota Bharu and i cuts through the main mountain range and offers breathtaking views of the tropical Rainforest. Check-in at hotel.

Day 07                   KOTA BHARU – KUALA TERENGGANU                                  

Morning proceed for tour in Kota Bharu visiting the wer market and handicraft centre before leaving to Kuala Terengganu. Travel southwards to the state of Terengganu with short stop at Pulau Duyong to view local master boat builders at work. Check in later in the evening

Day 08                   KUALA TERENGGANU – KUANTAN                                     \

A short scenic drive along the coastal road will bring you into the state of Pahang and to Kuantan. You will see Malay villages built in kampung style and opportunity to sample a traditional delicacy - Lemang(Glutinous rice cooked in bamboo with coconut milk).En route stop  at the Cherating Village where you will witness the Pig's Tail Monkey plucking coconut under it's master command and visit a Mengkuang Weaving Center. Check in at hotel

 Travel overland to Kuala Lumpur and check in upon arrival
